Affordable Education

FSW is dedicated to providing accessible and affordable education to all students. FSW offers a wide range of degree programs and certifications designed to meet the needs of diverse learners while maintaining tuition rates that are among the most competitive in the state. Remarkably, FSW has not raised tuition prices in over 10 years, underscoring our dedication to keeping higher education within reach for everyone. As a result of these efforts, 76% of FSW students graduate debt-free, highlighting our commitment to minimizing financial barriers and supporting student success. Here are a few examples of how FSW supports affordable education:
  • The FSW Foundation covers 50% of every student’s study abroad trip cost
  • Free certificate programs are available
  • Henry County students have opportunities for free education

Career-Ready Workforce Programs

In 2023, FSW launched our Division of Workforce Education, reaffirming our commitment to equipping students with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in today’s dynamic job market. This year alone, we have added three new programs to better align with industry demands and prepare our students for high-demand careers. Additionally, we have opened Career Connection Centers on all of our campuses, providing students with direct access to career guidance, job placement services, and employer connections, ensuring they are fully prepared to enter the workforce. Here are just a few examples of how FSW supports workforce opportunities and makes a significant economic impact on the communities we serve:
  • Hosting Career Connections workshops and bringing top employers to campus, providing students with valuable networking and career opportunities.
  • Established employer partnerships that offer internships, giving students hands-on experience in high-demand industries.
  • Offering free dental hygiene services to both residential students and community members, while providing real-world training for our students.
  • Re-engaging students who are close to completing their degrees, helping them return to college and finish what they started.
  • Hosting FAFSA completion events, empowering the community to access financial aid and pursue higher education.
  • Holding instant decision events at local high schools, allowing students to receive on-the-spot college acceptance.
  • Partnering with local organizations like the Williams Academy (Lee County Black History Museum) to strengthen community ties and promote educational access.
