Required Competencies:* · Possess appropriate academic and experiential qualifications
- Obtain and hold appropriate state licensure for professional practice
- Maintain a high level of professional ethics as outlined by APTA and the University
- Have strong interpersonal and written communication skills
Minimum Requirements:* Academic doctorate or earned DPT with a commitment to pursue academic doctorate appropriate for teaching responsibilities and scholarly activity Advanced training with contemporary expertise and clinical experience in neurologic, geriatric, or generalist physical therapy practice Current PT license; eligible for ND license
3 years’ clinical experience Successful completion of criminal history records check
Preferred Qualifications: An academic doctorate in a field appropriate for teaching responsibilities A Board-Certified Clinical Specialist from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties or advanced certification Classroom teaching experience Experience in clinical research or scholarly activity Membership and involvement in professional associations
