The Department of Computer and Information Sciences invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the rank of Associate Professor in all areas of Computer Science to begin in August 2026. Special consideration will be given to candidates in software engineering, cybersecurity, and systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate not only potential for excellent undergraduate teaching but also promise in sustained research with opportunities to involve undergraduates, mentoring, and service to the department and College. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field and be able to teach courses within the core curriculum of computer science, including data structures, software engineering, programming languages, and introductory programming courses.
This position is contingent upon the availability of sufficient funding.Qualifications
