Position Summary:
Martin Tuchman School of Management at New Jersey Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty position in accounting/finance beginning in the 2026-2027 Academic Year.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
- Candidates must have earned their doctorate in Accounting or Finance, preferably from an AACSB accredited school.
- Successful candidates must demonstrate a record of scholarly accomplishment and a commitment to contributing original research into leading peer-reviewed publications.
- In addition, the applicant should have the ability to teach an array of accounting, finance and related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
- At the university’s discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.

Salary Information:
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this position is $85,000.00-$140,000.00 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
