Job Summary

The Department of Religious Studies at Susquehanna University invites applications for a one-year visiting position at the rank of Assistant Professor beginning in August 2026. We seek a teacher-scholar committed to excellence and innovation in undergraduate education. The successful candidate must be qualified to teach introductory-level courses in New Testament and Hebrew Bible, as well as general education courses in religious ethics, in addition to upper-level courses in their area of specialization. This position contributes to the program in Women and Gender Studies, so specialization in gender and sexuality in religion is strongly preferred.
