This Dean’s position provides vision, leadership, and administrative oversight for general education and distance education. This role collaborates closely with faculty and staff to ensure high-quality instruction, strong academic outcomes, and student success.
Key responsibilities include overseeing assessment and outcomes reporting, supporting committee work, and approving adjunct and overload contracts. The Academic Deans play a central role in curriculum development and review, including course descriptions, content, and objectives, as well as in planning and managing instructional budgets. Additional duties include faculty evaluation, course scheduling, course enrollment management and analysis, and oversight of online learning offerings.
Required qualifications include a master’s degree, with skills in management and supervision of personnel and resources, computer capability in applications including spreadsheet, word processing, e-mail, etc., three years’ experience in teaching at the post-secondary level, and professional experience with distance education.

The salary is based on experience and is to begin within the range of $75,627 to $92,178 annually. This is a salaried, contract position. The position remains open until filled.
