Responsibility / Duty

55% Delivery of Instruction: 9 hours of Accounting courses per semester. Effective delivery of

student-focused instruction both in the classroom and via online coursework is expected,

as is continuous professional improvement and accessibility/interaction with students.

Percentage Of Time: 55

Responsibility / Duty

30% Scholarly Activity: Successfully publish peer-reviewed journal articles and conference

proceedings to maintain academic qualifications.

Percentage Of Time: 30

Responsibility / Duty

15% Service to Dept., College, University, and Community: Participate in student advising,
institutional committees, and campus/community/professional activities. Participate in program reviews; participate in student recruitment and retention. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Education Required

Ph.D. or D.B.A. in Accounting or related field preferably from an AACSB accredited school.

Minimum Licenses Required

CPA, CMA or other equivalent Accounting certification

Other Minimum Requirements

Commitment to effective teaching. A strong record of scholarly publication is required for an appointment.
