Position Summary:
The Department of Psychology and Counseling at Arkansas State University invites applications for the full-time tenure-track position of Assistant Professor. Position located in Jonesboro, AR.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include the following: Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in the Department of Psychology and Counseling, focusing on courses related to clinical mental health counseling. Conduct scholarly research in counseling and in related areas. Perform related duties such as publishing/presenting research results, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students, supervising student research, and serving on various university committees.

Minimum Qualifications:
The position requires the following: Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program.
ABDs will be considered but must have degree by date of appointment.
Preference: Academic Experience specific to clinical mental health counseling preferred but not required. Would hire without the above preference.
