Salary Range: $155,000 – $175,000

Description:

Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Academic Affairs and Provost of Queens College for Library operations, and to the Dean of Arts & Humanities for Library personnel, the Associate Dean and Chief Librarian will provide strategic direction and vision for the library. In collaboration with the University Librarian and other CUNY library leaders, the Chief Librarian participates in the development of cooperative library services within CUNY and beyond. The Chief Librarian serves as a advocate and spokesperson for the Queens College Library on campus, locally, statewide and nationwide. The Chief Librarian will work with college leadership to assess, develop, and integrate the new and existing technical and educational resources of the Library and the educational vision of the College. This will translate into leadership to meet the rapidly changing information and research needs of the students, faculty, and staff of the College.
