Description
This position will be responsible for delivering all levels of the electrical program classes. Duties include, but are not limited to, teaching classroom and laboratory sessions, curriculum development/restructuring, committee assignments, student academic advising, student recruitment, assessment of student learning, responsibility for equipment, materials, and supplies, review of adjunct faculty applications and credentials, and budget management.
Job Duties
Duties include but are not limited to: teaching classroom lecture courses, curriculum development/restructuring, and helping in student success.
Qualifications
- 6000 hours of electrical work experience OR possess a combination of an associate degree in electrical and at least 3,000 hours of recent, relevant tested electrical experience.
- Ability to pass a background check, have a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record
Physical Demands
- The employee frequently is required to sit for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
- Ability to drive college owned or personal vehicle.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
