Position Summary

The Professor must be responsible for all aspects of the program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of the program. The Professor must be responsible for organization, administration, continuous review, planning development, and general effectiveness of clinical experiences for students enrolled in the Surgical Technology program

Minimum Qualifications

1. Undergraduate Degree with NBSTSA Certification
2. Three years of current experience in the operating room in the scrub role or three years of current experience as an instructor of surgical technology or a combination of both.
3. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
4. Effective interpersonal skills necessary to interface with students and the general public.
5. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and their common instructional applications.
6. Excellent analytical skills.
7. Compliance with NCCA (National Commission on Certifying Agencies) standards and competencies.

Salary: Commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the Union-Board Agreement
