Description of the Department or Unit
The Department of Accounting has an enrollment of over 600 undergraduate majors across the Boone, Hickory, and online programs and approximately 30 students seeking the M.S. degree. The department has 24 full-time faculty members. Additional information about the Department of Accounting can be found here.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The person who fills this position will be expected to provide instruction primarily in introductory financial and managerial accounting. Instructional duties will include a teaching load of twelve credit hours per semester and participation in curriculum development. In addition to instructional duties, faculty members will be expected to contribute to service activities such as alumni relations, participation in student recruiting activities, and other departmental activities.
