The Department of World Languages & Culture at Spelman College is seeking an instructor of French for the 2026-2027 academic year. The teaching assignment will consist of lower-division French language courses in the fall and spring semesters.
We are seeking a dynamic, personable colleague with a successful record of teaching a diverse range of students in a small, liberal arts setting.Qualifications
M.A. in French required; Degree from an accredited institution at the time of application; Candidates must have a native or near-native level of French; Experience teaching Elementary French language courses at the college/university level; Commitment to teaching and engagement with studentsPosting Number: F693P
