Waynesburg University is accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Nursing / Nurse Practitioner Program Development Faculty position. This is potentially a tenure track position.
Master’s degree in Nursing, current unencumbered certification and licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania, or a multi-state NP license required, in addition to 3 years of advanced practice clinical experience. Doctoral degree in Nursing or related field preferred. The position has a primary focus on the development, implementation, and approval of a new Nurse Practitioner (NP) program. This position is ideal for an innovative and collaborative nurse educator with experience in graduate nursing education, curriculum development, accreditation, and academic leadership. In addition to supporting program development and approval processes, the faculty member will contribute to undergraduate and/or graduate nursing education, student mentorship, and departmental initiatives within a growing nursing department.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a strong Christian faith, a commitment to the University’s Mission and a demonstrated commitment to that faith, through his/her professional responsibilities, relationships and the mentoring of students.
