Advertised Job Summary
USCB invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2026. The position is a 9-month appointment with a total teaching load of 5 courses in fall semester and 5 courses in the spring semester per year in the Natural Sciences department.
This is an annual appointment that may be renewed contingent upon approval, satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and the availability of funding.
Required Education and Experience
- An earned Doctorate from an accredited institution in the academic or professional discipline to be taught.
- Experience in undergraduate teaching, including students from underserved and diverse cultural backgrounds, and the ability to integrate diverse undergraduates into their active research and scholarship program
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-doctoral experience
