GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of Mathematics invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in mathematics beginning Fall 2027. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or Associate Professor possible. Research and teaching interests are welcome from any area of mathematics, with special consideration given to candidates interested in algebra and the transition to advanced mathematical thinking.

We are seeking a mathematician who is excited to work in a collaborative department committed to ensuring that mathematics is accessible to all students. Faculty members work closely together to support student learning, shape curriculum, and advance departmental initiatives.
