The constituencies of UA Little Rock are seeking a chancellor with significant leadership experience in higher education or another complex organization who has a demonstrated ability to articulate and execute a bold, forward-looking vision for UA Little Rock’s second century that builds on the university’s momentum, effectively promotes the value of a vibrant, metropolitan university for its students and community, strengthens its presence and engagement in the City of Little Rock, and positions it for continued growth, relevance, and impact. A member of the statewide University of Arkansas System, UA Little Rock is governed by the Board of Trustees of the University of Arkansas and the chancellor reports to the president of the UA System. Under the chancellor’s leadership, university affairs will be conducted in accordance with state law and the policies and procedures established by the president and the Board of Trustees.
