Job description
Young Harris College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Biology beginning August 1, 2027. Applicants must possess (or be near completion of) a Ph.D. in a biological discipline related to botany. The successful applicant must be willing to teach courses in general biology for science majors and non-science majors, upper-level courses (e.g., botany), and other courses related to their specialty. Although Young Harris College is primarily a teaching institution, the candidate should also have a strong interest in research and the capability to direct undergraduate students in guided research experiences.
