Kansas Wesleyan University is seeking applicants for a tenure-track position in the Department of Business and Accounting. We seek candidates to apply for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor of Accounting.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching, scholarship, and service within the university community. This role will involve teaching undergraduate business courses, engaging in student development , and contributing to departmental, university and community initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate courses in a wide variety of accounting courses.
  • Advise and mentor students, facilitating their academic and professional development.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, and other governance activities.
  • Engage in professional development and applicable community service and outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

  • MBA, DBA, or Ph. D. in Business Administration (credentialed to teach undergrad accounting courses).
  • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to liberal arts education.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students in a diverse environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
