MILLIKIN UNIVERSITY invites applications for a part-time, Adjunct Instructor of Music–Trombone. Master’s degree required. Documented history of professional activity in performance (e.g. chamber music, solo, orchestral); evidence of successful teaching; and ability to attract and retain students is essential. Primary responsibilities include teaching applied lessons and weekly studio classes. Additional adjunct responsibilities commensurate with abilities. Candidate is expected to serve as principal trombone of the MDSO beginning in AY 2025 yielding additional remuneration. Teaching opportunities in the Millikin Community Arts Academy Department yielding additional remuneration are also possible. Teaching position begins January 2025.
