POSITION OVERVIEW
Point University is accepting applications for an adjunct online web design teaching position in
Information Technology within the College of Arts & Sciences.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a fully online/remote adjunct teaching position. All applicants must be physically located within the United States. The primary responsibility involves teaching CISM 330 using Canvas,
Cengage MindTap, and GitHub. The candidate should demonstrate UI/UX development using
HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
Course Title: CISM 330 – Foundations of Web Design
Course Description: Students will explore the core languages that power the structure and style of websites: HTML5 and CSS. Students will acquire a solid understanding of
HTML5 and CSS and gain hands-on experience through interactive activities. Students will be equipped with the skills to build and style websites and webpages.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
- Graduate degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Graphic Design,
Visual Design, Computer Science or a closely related field
- Minimum of 18 graduate semester hours web design, UI/UX, or web development.
Experience and Skills:
- Online teaching experience using an LMS
- Industry and practical experience with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, and research skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with Canvas LMS
- Proficient with HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Proficient with web design and development
- Proficient with designing interactive, responsive, and reactive websites
- Proficient with Cengage MindTap
- Proficient with GitHub
- Proficient with APA Style
