The Pittsburg State University School of Construction is looking for a professional with industry experience to teach in our Construction Management program. The Pittsburg State University School of Construction is looking for a wide range of skills in our construction management adjunct pool. We are looking for people with both direct trade experience, as well as construction management experience. Areas of interest are management, concrete, contracts, estimating, supervision, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. At least 5 years of work experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Teach one or more undergraduate courses in the Construction Management Program.
  • Evaluate and assess student performance.
  • The ability to work with students.
  • Collaborate with other faculty members.

Education and Experience

Required Education and Experience – Time of Hire

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related area.
  • 5 years of work experience related to the construction industry.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree
  • 10 years of work experience in the construction industry

Job Type: Unclassified: Faculty, Non-Tenure Earning, Renewable each semester based on needs of the College.

Appointment Duration: Varies based on need

Work Schedule: Part time, varies
