Job Description

Faculty are responsible for course development and instructional content delivery to carry out curricular and program objectives and institution mission. Active engagement in scholarly activities, service in university, college, and department committees as well as professional service. Other duties include advising students, mentoring research projects, participating in service-learning and interdisciplinary projects, and assisting with student recruitment and admissions.Minimum Qualifications

Doctoral degree in occupational therapy or a master’s degree in occupational therapy with a doctorate in another field.

  • Eligible for TN occupational therapy license.
  • Current NBCOT certification.
  • At least one year of occupational therapy practice experience and expertise in the area of teaching responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching experience at the university level
  • Expertise in physical dysfunction and adult rehabilitation.
  • Certification in Physical Agent Modalities.
  • A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and student success.
