Job Summary:
Assistant Dean for Partnerships and Innovation in Education This position reports directly to the Dean of the Caulfield School of Education (CSOE).
A creative, energetic, enthusiastic, and forward-thinking individual is needed to promote innovation, and secure, engage, and maintain partnerships with schools, school systems, universities and colleges, and related organizations for the purpose of building the teacher, administrator, and related service workforce in Education and related fields. This is a hybrid position. The Assistant Dean for Partnerships and Innovation in Education works on and off campus, and beyond the typical work day.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initiates and maintains partnerships with local school systems, private and parochial school districts, and related organizations, systems.
- Initiates and maintains partnerships with other universities and colleges that provide teacher, school administrator, and related service programs.
- Conducts presentations, open houses, makes regular site visits, and serves as primary liaison with partner school systems.
- Works closely with Enrollment services on all recruitment and admissions events and activities in Teacher, Administrator, and related professional programs including but not limited to conferences, state and regional meetings, open houses, tours and events on Saint Peter’s campus.
- Conducts market research, conducts surveys and interviews, to identify innovative, emerging and continuing trends in education and preparation and projects local, regional, national and international needs, and prepares regular written and in-person reports.
- Works with the Dean, other CSOE administrators, SPU Institutional
- Research, CSOE Student and Enrollment services to regularly report and analyze student enrollment, retention and graduation data in Education.
- Works with the Dean and CSOE faculty on program development, internal and NJDOE submissions and approvals.
- Works with the Dean to recruit representatives from partnerships to serve on the CSOE Advisory Board.
- Works closely with the faculty, Dean, Advancement on engaging alumni in all aspects of teacher and administrator education.
- Seeks and manages resources to support student learning and research (e.g., grants, donations, sponsorships, etc.)
- Assists the faculty and Dean in designing and implementing professional
- development activities for teachers, social workers, school counselors, school administrators, and paraprofessionals in education and related fields.
- Attends and contributes to regular CSOE meetings.
- Completes other tasks as assigned.
Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000

Qualifications
Qualification Standards:
- Master’s degree in Education or related field, doctoral degree preferred
- Experience in recruiting and working with external partnerships
- Experience in student recruitment and retention
- 3-5 years of experience working in a school or with a school system
- Knowledge of teacher and administrator education, trends
- Ability to work non-traditional hours and weekends upon request
