The University of Sioux Falls invites applications for a full-time faculty position in Psychology to begin the fall of 2026. The University of Sioux Falls is a private Christian university offering a positive, collegial work environment. Salary and academic rank (Assistant or Associate) will be commensurate with education and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS AND MAJOR FUNCTIONS
Candidates must possess an earned master’s degree in psychology or a related field. An earned or in progress Doctorate is preferred but not required.
The primary responsibility of this faculty member will be to teach undergraduate psychology courses at all levels, both on-ground and online. Evidence of successful undergraduate teaching is required. Courses may include Biological Psychology, Motivation and Emotion, and General Psychology. Expertise in neuroscience or sport psychology is preferred.
The successful candidate must have a passion for teaching, advising, and mentoring students at a Christian Liberal Arts University. This individual will also participate in the life of the university and community. The faculty member will engage in professional scholarship, curriculum assessment, and development. The applicant must pass the required background check prior to appointment.
