Summary |
The successful candidate for this full-time, tenure-track Assistant
Professor of Biological Sciences position will be expected to teach a wide range of lower division courses including Human Physiology for pre-health occupations students and Human Biology for general education students. In addition to the regular contractual departmental, collegial governance, and curricular duties, this position will also be expected to work directly with other disciplines such as Health Occupations and Kinesiology and with Cal Poly Humboldt faculty to coordinate curriculum and develop new programs. This position will require face-to-face instruction in both lecture and lab aspects of all courses and may include distance education modalities and hybrid sections. Teaching assignments may also include evenings and weekends.Anticipated start date for this position is Fall 2026. |

Education and Experience | Minimum requirement: Master’s degree from an accredited institution in any biological science OR bachelor’s degree in any biological science AND master’s degree in biochemistry, biophysics, or marine science OR the equivalent. |
