Description
Assistant Professor of Finance with Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY). Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Finance within the Zarb School of Business
Qualifications
Requires Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field. Requires at least 1 year of experience as a Professor, Lecturer, Teaching Assistant, or related job/role/occupation teaching finance. Experience must include: Demonstrated record of academic scholarship, research, and other scholarly activities, with a focus on corporate finance. Strong commitment to research and teaching, including at least one year of experience with the following: teaching finance in corporate finance; grading students’ homework assignments, term projects, and exams in finance courses; conducting empirical finance research including collecting relevant research data, surveying research literature, and conducting advanced statistical analysis for financial research.
Salary/Salary Range
$175,000-$195,000
