Description

Assistant Professor with Hofstra University (Hempstead, NY). Serve within the Department of Finance at the School of Business, responsible for teaching and performing scholarly research in the fields of corporate finance, accounting, financial management, and financial engineering.

Qualifications

Requires Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Business Administration or closely related field. Graduate studies must include coursework in Econometrics, Empirical Research in Finance, and Financial Management. Requires a demonstrated record of academic scholarship, research, and other scholarly activities, with a research focus in the areas of corporate finance, financial management, risk management, financial contracts, and banking. Strong commitment to research and teaching including at least one year of experience with the following: teaching finance courses including financial modeling; grading students’ homework assignments, term projects, and exams in finance courses; conducting empirical finance research including collecting relevant research data, surveying research literature, and conducting advanced statistical analysis for financial research.
