The Department of Civil Engineering in the College of Engineering at The University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a full-time position with the rank of Assistant Professor of Instruction.
Applicants must possess a doctorate in civil engineering by the date of appointment. Duties include:
Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in the field of civil engineering, including but not limited to classes in construction drafting, construction documents, building information, modelling and sustainable building; may conduct cutting edge research in the field of civil engineering; supervise and mentor graduate and undergraduate students; and serve on departmental, college, and university committees
