Job description

The College of Wooster located in Wooster, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Professor of Spanish to teach the equivalent of five and a half courses a year, including all levels of Spanish language and culture. In addition to teaching classes, the holder of this position will advise undergraduate research projects on student-generated topics as part of the College’s Senior Independent Study (I.S.) requirement. All faculty teach non-majors in their courses and contribute to the First-Year Seminar program.

The minimum qualification for this position is a Ph.D. or ABD (All But Dissertation) in Spanish. Must have native or near-native fluency in Spanish.
