The Department of Linguistics at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey – New Brunswick invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track position as an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Linguistics. This is a one year renewable position beginning September 1, 2020. Teaching will primarily consist of introductory and core Linguistics courses in face to face on campus format. Additional duties may include administrative responsibilities at the undergraduate level, and some teaching and advising at the graduate level, depending on departmental needs and the candidate’s expertise. The teaching load is 3:3.

Minimum Education and Experience

Qualifications include a PhD in Linguistics, and demonstrated excellence in teaching Linguistics courses at the Undergraduate level.
