Type of Assignment: Full-Time Faculty

Compensation:
Initial salary placement is based on education and experience and ranges from $85,435 (class I, step 1) to $143,026 (class VI-doctorate, step 10) on the 2024-2025 Annual Salary Schedule. Employees must make arrangements for the direct deposit of paychecks into the financial institution of their choice, via electronic fund transfer.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be eligible for this position, you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications:

1. Masters degree in any biological science (NOTE: The following are some degreesthat do not qualify as biological science degrees and therefore require equivalency -MD, DVM, OD, DDS, DC, biochemistry, bioengineering, biomedical science, biophysicsbiotechnology, environmental science, pharmacology); OR

2. Bachelors degree in any biological science AND a Masters degree in biochemistrybiophysics, or marine science; OR

3. the equivalent. Applicants who do not possess the EXACT degree major(s) required to meet the minimum qualifications must attach an equivalency narrative and supporting documentation at the time of application. 4. a fully satisfied, lifetime California Community College credential authorizinginstruction/service in the appropriate subject matter; AND

5. demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academicsocioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnicbackgrounds of community college students, faculty and staff.
