Job description
The Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Instructor will teach electrical principles, process control, and automation to students. They will develop lesson plans, lead hands-on labs for installation and troubleshooting, assess student progress, and ensure safety compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Curriculum Delivery: Develop and instruct courses on electrical circuits, instrumentation, sensors, motor controls, and PLCs.
- Hands-On Training: Facilitate practical lab sessions, demonstrating the proper use of tools and test equipment.
- Student Assessment: Evaluate student performance through exams, practical testing, and progress reports.
- Safety Adherence: Enforce rigorous safety protocols (e.g., OSHA, NEC) for all electrical work.
- Curriculum Development: Regularly update training materials, manuals, and simulations to align with industry advancements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree
or
- Associate’s degree plus 4-6 years of relevant experience
or
- Eight – 10+ years of highly relevant field experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience: Field-based experience as an E&I Technician or Supervisor
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of industrial instrumentation (flow, level, temperature) and electrical systems.
- Instructional Skills: Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management abilities.

This is an on-campus position. If not residing within a reasonable commuting distance from Camden, AR, relocation is required.
