The Opportunity:
The Gary E. West College of Business at West Liberty University is seeking applications for a Faculty member in Marketing. The successful candidate will be able to teach the following courses: Principles of Marketing, Professional Selling, Retailing, Consumer Behavior, Integrated Marketing Communications, Social Media Marketing, Marketing Research, Marketing Management, and others as may be assigned. In addition to traditional classroom instruction, the person who holds this position will be required to teach online courses and Master’s level classes.
Essential Functions of the position:
- Curriculum development
- Student advisement
- Online Instruction
- Participate in activities related to student recruitment and retention
Education & Experience Requirements:
- A doctorate in Marketing or Business Administration required
- Industry Experience is Preferred
- Candidates must have a commitment to excellent teaching, scholarship and service (college, university and community).
- Candidate must have excellent communication skills.

A faculty member is expected to participate in continuous improvement in the areas of teaching, professional development, and service to the University and community. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
