Job Description

Maternal Fetal Medicine

The UAB Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology announces the opening of a replacement faculty position to bolster its Maternal Fetal Medicine portfolio. Recruitment is for an Open Rank/Open Tenure earning faculty applicant with a M.D. or PhD degree at all ranks. The primary focus of this position is research towards the advancement of science in the area of women’s health as it relates to Maternal Fetal Medicine. The faculty member will also be engaged in educating medical students, residents and fellows within the Department.

The UAB Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology currently ranks as the 10th highest NIH-funded Ob/Gyn program and the institution as a whole is ranked 22nd. The Department is very committed to growing its current research, education, and implementation efforts in Maternal Fetal Medicine.

Required Qualifications

The successful applicant will hold a M.D. or D.O., in Obstetrics and Gynecology or a closely comparable field.
