Tenure Track rank: PhD in Aviation, Education, Business or other related field with focus on aviation. ABD candidates will be considered but PhD must be completed by May 2027.

Position Details:
Assistant Professor or Multi-Year Contract Instructor of Aviation
Teaching responsibilities may include undergraduate courses in any of the following disciplines; Professional Aviation Flight Technology or Aviation Management.
For the tenure-track position additional duties include serving on university committees, curriculum development, academic advisement and performing appropriate scholarly research and professional service within the guidelines of the University.
Department: The Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences is one of three departments within the Bailey College of Engineering and Technology. Contained within the department is the Aviation Management Program, Professional Aviation Flight Technology Program, and Unmanned Systems Minor.

Job Summary:
Indiana State University’s Department of Engineering and Applied Sciences is seeking applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor or Multi-Year Contract Instructor. Duties include undergraduate courses in the Aviation degree programs. This is a nine-month position with the possibility of summer teaching assignments.
