Position Summary

The Office of International Education at the University at Buffalo invites applications for a position teaching Business courses in the University at Buffalos undergraduate degree program at the Singapore Institute of Management in Singapore.

The appointment will begin in Fall 2026 and involves teaching two undergraduate courses per semester along with providing a limited amount of academic and program service.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong academic preparation and experience teaching courses in Management Information Systems and Applied Statistics/Quantitative Analysis, or in directly related fields.

Appointments are available on either a single-semester or recurring basis. Employment is contingent upon receipt of the appropriate work authorization from the Government of Singapore.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Masters degree in a field directly related to the proposed teaching portfolio and three years experience teaching or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience teaching undergraduate students in a US college or university setting is required.
  • Experience teaching in an intercultural context is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A PhD degree in a directly related field.
  • Additional teaching experience.
  • Experience living and teaching in an overseas environment, especially an Asian environment is a plus.

Physical Demands

This position involves relocating to Singapore in August 2026.

Salary Range
$24,600 – $32,800
