The Missouri Southern State University Psychology Department is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position on its Joplin, Missouri campus. This position may be tenure-track (Assistant Professor) or non-tenure track (Master Instructor) depending on candidate credentials.

A Master’s in Psychology or related field is required with multiple areas of specialization (e.g., Developmental, Clinical, ABA) that support our growing Applied Behavior Analysis center and program being considered. Ideal candidates will have BCBA certification and clinical experience. The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach General Psychology and ABA courses. Other responsibilities include student advising and participation in service activities to support an ABA clinic, including leadership.

The position may be 10-month or 12-month with a flexible hire date (Summer or Fall 2025).
