For over a century, Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (TEDS) has stood at the intersection of rigorous scholarship and deep Christian faith, forming generations of pastors, missionaries, and theologians who serve the global church. As TEDS enters a new chapter as the embedded seminary of Trinity Western University (TWU) in Langley, British Columbia, we are expanding our academic team to support this exciting integration and growth.
TEDS offers a range of graduate and doctoral programs rooted in the authority of Scripture and the transformative power of the gospel. Our faculty and staff affirm the TWU Statement of Faith and uphold the Community Covenant, fostering a vibrant academic and spiritual community.
We invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in New Testament, beginning August 1, 2026. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team committed to theological excellence, spiritual formation, and global engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach graduate-level courses.
- Engage in ongoing scholarly research and publication.
- Contribute to curriculum development and accreditation processes.
- Participate actively in committee service.
- Mentor and support students in their academic and spiritual formation.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated teaching ability.
- Qualities of character and personality expected in a teacher and counselor of students, and other Christian virtues.
- Demonstrated commitment to ministry.
- Evidence of theological competence in the handling of scripture.
- A terminal degree is ordinarily required for teaching New Testament. (Candidates in the final stages of such a doctoral program may also be considered.)
- Demonstrated ability in scholarship and research.

Annual Salary Ranges:
Instructor: $62,872 – $75,637
Assistant Professor: $73,479 – $95,401
Associate Professor: $85,481 – $114,606
This position is subject to budgetary approval.
