Job description

Holy Names University – School of Liberal Arts- seeks an instructor of Afro-Latinx Cultures and Experiences in the fall semester 2018. The 3-unit class will meet on Monday evenings from 4:30-7 beginning on August 27, 2018.

This course, requested by students in the Latin American Latino/a Studies (LALS) program, will be open to all students and will satisfy requirements in LALS, Sociology, and History. The class will be taught for the first time this coming fall. We look forward to discussing its potential content and focus with candidates.

The salary is $3837.60 for the semester.

The candidate must have a Masters in a field related to this job and experience teaching in a college or university.
