The Arnold School of Public Health (ASPH) at the University of South Carolina (USC) invites applications for a tenure-track position in Epidemiology at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. Candidates with expertise in clinical epidemiology are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join an existing group of USC health scientists embedded in the Greenville Health System (GHS), a large, rapid-learning health system, with the goal of developing a research program in clinical epidemiology, health outcomes and health services research. GHS currently has robust research portfolios in oncology, obstetrics-gynecology and surgery with expanding research portfolios in a number of other medical disciplines such as pediatrics and orthopedics as well as in health systems research.
The successful candidate will be stationed at the GHS in the beautiful city of Greenville, SC. Greenville has a strong positive trajectory; nationally, it is the 4th fastest growing city and ranks in the top 5 for livability. The departmental home for the tenure-track appointments are in the ASPH’s Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. The ASPH is located on the USC campus in Columbia, SC, a 1.5-hour drive from Greenville.
