Piedmont College located in Demorest, Georgia, is seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in Spanish, to begin on August 1, 2018. This is a full time, 10-month, non-tenure track position.

Master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in Spanish or a related field and experience teaching at the college level. Responsibilities include teaching introductory and upper-level courses in Spanish language and culture; advising students; assisting with curriculum development, review, and assessment of the program; representing the program at recruiting and retention events; serving on committees at the department, school, and college level; and conducting scholarship appropriate to the position.
