Marian University is accepting applications for a full-time tenure track Assistant Professor of Social Work in the School of Arts, Sciences and Letters, beginning August, 2018. The responsibility of this role is teaching courses throughout the curriculum in the CSWE accredited undergraduate Social Work Program, and conducting scholarly research. Other duties include academic advising, maintaining relationships with the social work practice community, and participation in University committee work and the program’s Community Advisory Committee.

Master’s in Social Work and the DSW or Ph.D. in Social Work (or a related field) required. Minimum of two years practice experience post BSW. Knowledge of CSWE accreditation standards. Experience with accreditation self-study and previous teaching experience preferred. Willingness to support the Mission and Core Values of Marian University.
