Black Hills State University invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Spanish. Faculty positions have defined responsibilities in teaching, scholarship/research and service (University, professional, and community). Publication in peer-reviewed journals, strong collegial and collaborative skills, and effective teaching will be expected.

*Teach undergraduate courses face-to-face and online
*Engage in appropriate research/scholarly activities
*Participate in service activities

*PhD required by start date in one of the following fields: Spanish, Spanish Language or Literature Pedagogy; Spanish Education, Applied Linguistics, or closely related field
*Willingness to teach online
*Teaching or Research experience
