The Assistant/Associate Dean for Campus Programs is a member of the full-time faculty (rank commensurate with experience). The primary responsibilities of the Assistant/Associate Dean for Campus Programs are to supervise Department Chairs/Senior Chairs for Campus Programs, Program Directors for Campus Programs, and faculty to insure that insure that SACS and programmatic accreditation standards and state agency regulations are met, as well as existing and new program content delivery are of high quality and align with the pedagogy design of active and effective learning while supporting the student experience. The incumbent is responsible for the student experience with the faculty and curriculum.

The Assistant/AssociateDean for Campus Programsalso participates in activities that promote the stature of the academic programs, departments, and colleges and abides by the mandates set by the South University Board of Trustees and administration.
