Job Summary
The full-time, tenure track, Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Nursing position has primary responsibilities in the Family Nurse Practitioner Graduate Nursing/Doctor of Nursing Practice Programs (Dothan, Troy, Montgomery, or Phenix City campuses). This position is primarily responsible for teaching graduate nursing courses; advising students; maintaining full faculty involvement in the University, College, and School; and contributing to the nursing body of knowledge through personal and collaborative scholarship.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Doctoral preparation in nursing or related field
  2. FNP National Certification
  3. Minimum of two years of FNP experience
  4. Eligible for CRNP and RN licensure in Alabama
  5. Effective leadership skills
  6. Ability to work collegially in a group of dedicated graduate faculty

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Graduate teaching experience and course development/planning experience
  2. Experience with online course delivery
  3. Knowledge of data analysis and statistics

Will this position require driving (personal vehicle, university vehicle, utility vehicle, or golf cart) in order to perform the job duties?
