Job description

The Biology Department at James Madison University is accepting applications for part-time instructors to teach a variety of biology and biotechnology courses, including anatomy, physiology or core biology courses during the academic year. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidates will teach courses in the following areas, included but not limited to general biology, anatomy, physiology, genetics, microbiology, cell and molecular and ecology.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in biology or a related field is preferred, or a M.S. with at least 18 hours in graduate biology coursework.

Pay Rate: Commensurate with Experience
