Degree and area of specialization:

MD, MD/PhD, DO or DO/PhD -Board eligible or certified in Neurology. Epilepsy, EEG or clinical neurophysiology fellowship training or equivalent experience.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

Epilepsy, EEG or clinical neurophysiology Fellowship training. Candidates for associate clinical professor or clinical professor (C-HS) rank must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and promotion on the Clinician Teacher track.

License or Certificate:

Licensed or eligible for Wisconsin medical license. Board eligible or certified in Neurology.

Position Summary:

The Department of Neurology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health seeks a board certified or board eligible adult epileptologist with epilepsy, EEG or clinical neurophysiology fellowship training or equivalent experience to join our Comprehensive Epilepsy Program at the UW Hospitals, VA Hospital and UW Health clinics. The position includes opportunities for clinical, teaching and research activities in an academic environment with adult and pediatric epileptologists, general neurologists , faculty in neuropsychology, neurosurgery, neuroradiology, clinical neurophysiology and basic science departments. Clinical duties include outpatient clinics, inpatient attending and intraoperative neuro-monitoring. Candidates must hold an M.D. or DO, be board certified or eligible in neurology and have or have the ability to obtain an Wisconsin medical license.
