Department: SACF Human Ecology

Job Purpose

Teaching, service and other duties as assigned by the School of Human Ecology Director.

Essential Functions

Teach undergraduate level courses in food preparation management, quantity food production, foodsystems administration and other related courses as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree from an accredited institution in Hospitality Management, Nutrition, or closely related field by the start date of employment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. One year teaching experience in Culinary Arts and/or Food Production Management.

Preferred Qualifications

Earned doctorate or completion of all coursework (ABD) from an accredited institution in Hospitality Management, or closely related field, by start date of employment. Registered ServSafe Proctor and Instructor through the National Restaurant Association. Experience in leading foods lab courses.

Salary
Commensurate with education and experience. Full-time, nine month, non-tenure-track position to begin August 1, 2018. Three year contract renewable based on satisfactory performance review.
