About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most innovative and successful Journalism programmes in the country.  We have exceptionally high graduate-level employment rates, 100% satisfaction in NSS, and growing student numbers.

Our unique BA (Hons) Football Journalism, combined with our Specialist Sports Journalism, Magazine Journalism, and BA Journalism, has proved a very popular choice with students.  We have plans for further growth in future years, including postgraduate programmes.

Journalism is well supported by the University executive, as evidenced by increased staffing levels and investment in our teaching spaces.

We are looking for a number of people to join and our team, and invite candidates with a variety of backgrounds.  We need people with considerable recent experience as a practising journalist, particularly in the area of multi-media, multi-platform production, but we are also looking for people with an excellent academic career.  A background in magazine, sports, and/or video journalism would also be welcome.

While these are full-time posts, we will consider applications for those looking to work part-time.
